Well kids, Ive been keeping this xanga up for about what? two whole years and some change now? and boy, a lot of things have changed. Some for the better, some for the worse. These past two years of my life have been, well eye-opening. Ive met so many cool folks thru xanga and I stayed with it when everyone made the big move to MySpace and Xanga wasnt cool all of a sudden.
I admit, Ive said and done some pretty stupid things here, do I regret any of it? hell no, because I have learned valuable lessons from that, the kind that stick with you. Im done with blogging for a while, I need to get back to living and such. I spend too much time on the internet and this summer I plan to go biking more often. SOme of the best bike trails in South texas are not more than a mile away from me and Im sitting here on my ass on most of my days off. Life Is Calling. It has been a great couple of years. Ive discovered so much about myself and I do think I could use some improvements.

| So, I got a torrent of the new Red Hot Chili Peppers double album, it comes out next week, Ill get it for sure, but I can say that Im not really impressed. Its good, but not great. Itll probably grow on me, so I gota listen to it more. I cant wait for the tour. | | |
| Been very busy, I checked out the immigration protest downtown today, everything went smoothly, Im glad to say except for my camera's batteries running low.so let me add one of them fancy
anyways, I shall show yall a couple of my new projects.
I made some speakers out of PVC piping:
these suckers sound awesome, let me tell you, like a big concert hall awesome, Im not the first to make them, I got the idea in my head, went online, and Googled "pvc speakers" and sure enough I found a couple of guys that did them. but none of them have the idea I had, to make some hollow PVC speaker stands, so itll increase the acoustics of them by like 10x times. this project costed me around 12 bucks the most expensive part was the pvc piping which was surprising and some drill bits for my drill, and I payed nothing for the speakers, I just took my old speaker's insides out and put them into the pipes.
My friend Mike is going to get me to "produce" his bands first demo. Im really excited about it, and that he came to me for help. I will not disappoint those recordings are going to turn out great with all my computer equipment.
I need to get a mixing board so that I can help other bands out this way.
anyways, I went shopping today, not anywhwere fancy, just a couple of thrift stores and in case yall dont know I collect vintage electronics and look what I found
yup, a fully functional 8-track player! along with an Elvis gretest hits cassette.
and an old transistor radio. I also found a dictaphone, which was the same kind that the clash used to record their first live shows, alas, it didnt work. so no pics of the ugly thing, its still a part of my collection though. | | |

| I went to the mall to spend a $25 dollar gift certificate I got for X-mas, it had been a long time since Ive been there. wow America is in a state of decay, 11 year olds walking around with cell phones with their so called friends, they were just "hangin" together not really doing anything. When America's youth's best past time is to go "go to the mall and stuff" it really makes you wonder where America will be in the next 20 years. Remember when I was 11 my past time was playing outside or reading hell even playing nintendo for a couple of hours, even thats better than being at some fucking mall walking around.we elect a douche bag president, need I say more? the truth is coming out. Everyday it becomes clearer and clearer how our so called leaders are running this big experiment called America. Things are going downhill fast.
So I wound up not spending the gift certificate, I couldnt find anything I really wanted. So I drove my Pontiac Sunbird (I drive now btw, yay) to the Mayan, watched Final Destination 3 with and old friend of mine whom I used to work with at Jim's Restaurant. What a dumb movie. We were laughing all the way through it, while everyone else cringed and screamed. Americans are so easy to scare, no wonder we're giving up our freedoms like milk going out of date. All in the name of National Security, national security, dont even get me started on that. It's a vicious cycle, we'll never be safe. There will never be a point in time were we can say "wow we are so safe now, finally!" Its never going to end. Anyways, after that snooze fest, I dropped Sam off at her house and drove downtown for some reason. Something drew me there, I went to Sam's Burger Joint and talked to the cute cashier that I always see there. Hung out outside, saw some familiar faces, listened to the bands.HUng out in the back, Smoked a couple of cigarrettes. I was only there for about an hour. Drove back home, driving really relaxes me. Im finally at that position where if I want to go somewhere I can just get up and go.
2006 hasnt kicked my ass yet, unlike 2005. One of my new years resolutions has been acquired. Now I just have to get my license to make it official. then...
